The band has been busy booking and preparing for our upcoming spring tour. Big news is that our May 17 record release show with The Ocean Blue is SOLD OUT. Due to very high demand, we’ve added a second show earlier that night at — doors and deejay Rubberband Girl at 6:30 p.m. and show at 7 p.m. Ticket holders to the original, sold-out show will be able to see the late show, with doors and deejay Rubberband Girl at 9:30 p.m. and show at 10 p.m. It’s gonna be a fun night, and we sure hope to see you there. There are still tickets available for the early show, but don’t wait too long — it will probably sell out soon! See our West and East-Coast tour plans on our Shows page.
Some very encouraging early reviews and features have rolled in, including a full-page feature in the April edition of Magnet Magazine, at newsstands and record shops now. The Aquarian Weekly, Dagger and the Big Takeover have chimed in, and everyone seems to be on board with our new sound. There’s more in the works, and it’s all very exciting.
In the last days before the record release, we’ve made some playlists on Spotify to share with you. . . three to be exact. One is a collection some of our favorite songs that inspired us during the making of Sun Moon; one is a list of side projects, productions and session appearances by bandmembers; and one is a look at our back catalog that attempts to explain how we got to Sun Moon.
